Before you hire an accounting firm — what should you actually ask?
Before you hire an accounting firm — what should you actually ask?
The first question that matters: do they have a genuinely registered tax agent with the Federal Tax Authority, or are they just "consultants" offering opinions with no formal standing to represent you before the Authority? The second: who will be your fixed point of contact — one person who actually knows your file, or will you get bounced between different staff every time? The third: do they track registration and filing deadlines proactively, or do they wait for you to remember and ask?
Other practical questions: is the price inclusive of every service (registration, filings, responding to FTA queries), or are there surprise extra fees later? And what happens if you get audited or receive a clarification request from the Authority — will they be there with you, or is that "not their job"? At RASEEKH we answer these clearly from the first call, because a relationship that's meant to last years needs to be built on clarity from day one.
