How often should a small business owner review their financial statements?
A monthly review (at minimum a quick profit and cash-flow summary) lets you spot a deviation from plan early — a sudden expense spike, or a client falling behind on payment — before it builds up and becomes harder to fix. A deeper quarterly review (all three statements compared to the prior quarter and the plan) gives you a clearer picture of where the business is heading, and it's also the right time to check your tax position (close to a registration threshold? still eligible for small business relief?) before you're caught off guard at year-end.
An annual review alone comes far too late for any corrective decision — by the time you see the numbers, the year is already over. At RASEEKH, we build you a periodic review schedule (monthly and quarterly) sized to your business, not just an annual report that arrives after the window to act has closed.
