Bookkeeping and accounting aren't the same thing — what's the difference?
Bookkeeping and accounting aren't the same thing — what's the difference?
The two are related but not the same job. Bookkeeping is the day-to-day recording of transactions — invoices, expenses, bank movement — accurate, organized recording, nothing more. Accounting takes that recorded data and turns it into meaning: financial statements, profitability analysis, reports actually used in a decision — like applying for financing or pricing a new service.
A problem we see often: a company pays for bookkeeping only, then expects full analysis and accounting from it, and is surprised that the numbers exist but nobody is reading them. At RASEEKH, the two are integrated from the start — books kept current, and an accounting read of those numbers whenever you need it.
