E-invoicing: will my current accounting software work, or do I need to replace it?
The new system doesn't necessarily mean buying an entirely new accounting package. What's actually required is that your system (or a connector/integration built on top of it) can produce invoice data as PINT AE-compliant XML and connect to an FTA-accredited service provider that transmits the invoice to your customer's system. Larger, well-known accounting platforms generally already have or are building ready integrations with accredited service providers, while older or manually built setups (a spreadsheet-based process, for instance) need a serious readiness assessment.
The more important question isn't just "will my system work?" on its own, but "is my accounting data actually organised and complete in the required fields (tax registration number, transaction classification, line-item detail)?" — because even a modern system with incomplete data will stumble at integration time. At RASEEKH, we assess your current system and your data together, not the system alone, before recommending the right service provider for you.
