The return is filed — so how exactly do I pay the tax due?
Filing the return and paying the tax due are two separate steps that must both happen by the same deadline (typically nine months from the end of the Corporate Tax period). A return can be filed while you assume you're done, while actual payment is still pending — and that still counts as a late payment.
Payment is made directly through the EmaraTax platform, with several channels available (bank transfer, card, or through approved local banks). The late-payment penalty is entirely separate from the late-filing penalty — meaning you could owe both if both slipped. RASEEKH follows the file through until payment is actually confirmed, not just filing.
