How do I choose an auditor — and how do I confirm they're actually licensed?

الإجابة

The first, non-negotiable condition: the firm or auditor must be listed on the Ministry of Economy's Auditors Register, and every partner must be a certified public accountant licensed by the Ministry (a foreign partner needs an equivalent home-country license held for at least five years). The firm must also carry professional liability insurance in its own name, per Ministerial Resolution No. 111 of 2022. You can verify this registration directly through the Ministry of Economy and Tourism's website before signing anything.

Once licensing is confirmed, independence is the next key criterion: the auditor should have no financial interest in the company, no family relationship with its owners or management, and should not be the same party that keeps the company's books — an obvious conflict of interest. Beyond that, compare the firm's experience in your specific sector, the size of its team relative to your company, and the realistic timeline to complete the audit before your filing deadline. RASEEKH helps clients verify all of these points before signing, so the audit report gets accepted by the bank and the tax authority the first time.
